BSCM PRESIDENT MESSAGE

Ahmed Al Zayani

Following the great success of our conference of last year, our conference returns this year in its 26th edition under the title PEOPLE 5.0: Shaping Future Workforce. This important topic has been carefully chosen as we all look forward to highlighting the characteristics of the workforce required for the future—most importantly the blend between the human element and the technological element, especially human intelligence and artificial intelligence (HI & AI).

Therefore, the Board of Directors and the conference organizing committee invite you to take full advantage of this event, with the presence of international and regional experts.

We welcome your participation as sponsors, participants, or supporters in human resource development, with the aim of enhancing performance and productivity.

We look forward to seeing you at the conference.

ABOUT THE CONGRESS

Refers to the evolution of how humans and technology interact, especially in the workplace. It is inspired by the concept of Society 5.0 (introduced in Japan), which envisions a super-smart society where technologies like AI, IoT, and robotics are integrated into daily life to enhance human capabilities rather than replace them.

THE NEXT GENERATION OF WORKFORCE REFERS TO

  • Young talents (often Gen Z and beyond) entering the labor market.
  • Workers who are tech-savvy and values-driven (purpose, diversity, sustainability) and adapt quickly to innovation.
  • A workforce that expects flexibility, remote-work options, and continuous learning opportunities.
  • An emphasis on soft skills—leadership, collaboration, adaptability—alongside technical skills.
